And UP Fine Arts alumna Celia Diaz Laurel was a woman who successfully fulfilled her many roles on that stage: thespian, theater production designer, painter, writer, philanthropist, arts advocate, mentor, and wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She drew her final curtain on 12 July 2021. She was 93.
