For the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ (UP), taking care of the mental health of its students and other academic community members is paramount. UP students have to transition to blended learning from two years of remote learning, on top of academic pressures and the strain of dealing with a pandemic.

To help UP students adjust and thrive in the new blended mode of learning and to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month this October, the UP Office of Student Development Services (OSDS) has released Episode 3 in its four-part video series, “Byaheng Blended ni Zia,” with a special focus on “Mental Well-being.” This video provides practical ways to manage school anxiety and access professional help.

In addition, the UP OSDS has also published a Directory of Mental Health Service Providers in all of UP’s constituent units. This Directory offers contact information on mental health service providers across the UP System who can help students with mental health concerns, students diagnosed with mental health conditions, and students seeking psychosocial rehabilitation.
